Hearing Aid Professionals, Inc. was established in 1972 as a Beltone franchise in Inglewood, CA. by Mr. Al Grestenfeld. It was later converted into a multi-line hearing aid dispensing office in 1984. In May 1992 it was acquired by its current owners; Mr. Satish(Sam) Koldhekar,MS and his wife Dr. V.S. Koldhekar,MD. The Inglewood office was moved to a 12 story medical building "WESTCHESTER MEDICAL PLAZA", Los Angeles; in 1995 which is currently the main (Corporate) office. The Corporation also has two other offices: Hearing Aid Professionals, located on the third floor of Maxson Medical Building in West Covina and Hearing Aid Professionals (also known as Better Hearing Aid Center), located in Thatcher Medical Building,on Green Street between Catalina and Mentor, in Pasadena.

Helpful hints
Wear your hearing aids for a few hours the first day and add an hour a day the following day, and the next, and the next, until you are wearing hearing aids most of the day. Do not try to set an endurance record! I recommend that you interact with people familiar to you during your first days with new hearing aids. Start in a favorable listening environment (such as one-on-one conversations in quiet) and work towards more difficult listening situations. Let your friends and family know you're using your new hearing aids.
